Imam Abou Abdellah Al-Sadiq (Pbuh) said: "Jirabeel came to prophet Yousuf and said: "O Yousuf, who made you the greatest of people?" He said: "My Lord."
Jibraeel said: "Who made your father love you more than your brothers?" He said: "My Lord."
Jibraeel said: "Who made the travelers come to you?" He said: "My Lord."
Jibraeel said: "Who protected you from the stones?" He said: "My Lord."
Jibraeel said: "Who saved you from the well?" He said: "My Lord."
Jibraeel said: "Who protected you from the plan of the women?" He said: "My Lord."
Jibraeel said: "Your Lord says: "What made you seek aid with a created creatures besides me. Stay in jail for few years because of what you said."
It is when Yousuf said to his companion in prison: "Tell your lord about me." He sought aid with the created rather than the creator."
