A man from the children of Israeel used to supplicate Allah to grant him a child. He supplicated for thirty three years and still Allah didn’t respond to him. So he said: " O Allah, am I far from you and so you aren’t hearing me? Or you are close to me and so you aren’t responding to me? A man came to him in his dreams and said to him: "You were supplicating Allah since three years with a ribald tongue, an arrogant not pious heart and with no honest intentions. So stop being ribald, make your hear pious and straighten your intentions." He did then he asked Allah to grant him a child and so Allah granted him a child."
