On Resurrection Day, each beautiful woman who failed in faith because of her beauty will say: "O Lord, you created me beautiful and this was my end because of it." Then Mariam (pbuh) comes and it is said to the woman: "Are you more beautiful or she? She created her beautiful and yet she didn’t fail."
On Resurrection Day, each beautiful man who failed in faith because of his beauty will say: "O Lord, you created me beautiful and this was my end because of it." Then Yousuf (pbuh) comes and it is said to the man: "Are you more beautiful or He? He created her beautiful and yet he didn’t fail."
Every man who was inflicted with hardship and calamities will say: "O Lord, you inflicted me with hard calamities and so I failed." Then Ayyoub (pbuh) comes and the man is told: "Were your calamities harder or His? He was inflicted and yet he didn’t fail."
Iblees was came to Ayyoub in the form of one of his servants and said to him: "O Ayyoub, do you know what the lord that you chose and worshiped did to your cattle and shepherds?" Ayyoub said: "They are his, he lent them to me. He is more worthy of them. He can take them if He pleases and leave them for me if He pleases. I always taught my Self that my self and my money are indeed to perish." Iblees said: "Your lord sent fire from the sky and burned all of them." Ayyoub said: "Thanks for Allah when He gave me and when He took from me. I was born naked. I will go back to the soil naked and I will be resurrected before Allah naked. You shouldn’t be gladdened when Allah lends you and you shouldn’t be saddened when He takes back what He had lent you."
