Cupping

Al-Khisal- Sheikh Al-Sadouq p.610:

Abou Abdellah (pbuh) reported from his father from his grandfather from his forefathers (pbut) that the Prince of Believers (pbuh) taught his companions in one gathering four hundred fields from which a Muslim can benefit, concerning his religion and earthly life. He (pbuh) said: "Cupping corrects the body and strengthens the brain (…)"

 

Oyoun Akhbar Al-Rida (pbuh)- Sheikh Al-Sadouq vol.1 p.28:

Ali Bin Mousa Al-Rida (pbuh) reported that his father Mousa Bin Jaafar (pbuh) reported that his father Jaafar Bin Mohammad (pbuh) reported that his father Mohammad Bin Ali (pbuh) reported that his father Ali Bin Al-Hussein (pbuh) reported that his father Al-Hussein Bin Ali (pbuh) reported that his father Ali Bin Abi Talib (pbuh) reported that the Messenger of Allah (pbuhp) said: "If something had the ability to heal, it is either a stroke of cupping or a sip of honey."

 

Ma'ani Al-Akhbar- Sheikh Al-Sadouq p.247:

The Messenger of Allah (pbuhp) said: "What a great habit to practice cupping is. It clears vision and drives away diseases."

 

Tib Al-A'ima- Ibin Sabour Al-Zayat p.56:

Abou Abdellah Al-Sadiq (pbuh) reported that Abou Jaafar Al-Baqir (pbuh) said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuhp) never complained from pain without referring to cupping as his remedy."

 

Mostadrak Al-Wasa'el- Al-Mirza Al-Nouri vol.31 p.80:

The Messenger of Allah (pbuhp) said: "Treat yourself with cupping when your blood is agitated, for agitated blood my kill you."


Tib Al-A'ima- Ibin Sabour Al-Zayat p.59:

Abou Al-Hassan Al-Askari (pbuh) said: "Eat pomegranate after cupping, sweet pomegranate, for it calms the blood and purifies it."
