The High Rank of The Followers Of AL Mohammad (Pbut)

* Forat bin Ibrahim Al-Kufi in his Tafseer Book: Reported from Moawia bin Ammar that Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) said: “I swear to Allah, if it hadn’t been for you heaven wouldn’t have been ornamented. I swear to Allah, if it hadn’t been for you no angelic maid would have been created. I swear to Allah, if it hadn’t been for you no grain would have grown. I swear to Allah if it hadn’t been for you no one would have been relieved. I swear to Allah, no one loves you more than me. So aid us with piousness, hard work and working in obeying Allah.” [1]

* Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Khalid Al-Barqi in Al-Mahasin Book: Reported from Abou Amru Al-Kulaini that he said: “I was practicing Tawaf with Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) as he was leaning on me. Then he (Pbuh) said: ‘Plenty is the blackness.’ Meaning people. I said: ‘Yes, may I be sacrificed for your sake.’ Imam (Pbuh) said: ‘I swear to Allah, none performs pilgrimage but you. None will be rewarded twice its reward but you. I swear to Allah, you are the caretakers of the sun and moon. I swear to Allah, you are the people of Allah’s religion. Yours are what will be accepted and you are the ones who will be forgiven.’“[2]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Sadouq states in Oyoun Akhbar Al-Rida Book: Reported from Ali bin Mahdi Al-Riqqi from his father that he said that Imam Ali Bin Moussa Al-Rida (Pbuh) reported from his father Moussa Bin Jaa’far from his father Jaa’far Bin Mohammad from his father Mohammad Bin Ali from his father Ali Bin Al-Hussein from his father Al-Hussein Bin Ali from his father Ali Bin Abi Talib (Pbuh) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said: “O Ali, Touba (Bliss) is for he who loved you and believed in you and Wayl (Valley in Hell) is for he who detested you and disbelieved in you. Who love you are known in the seventh sky and the seventh under-earth and what is between them. They are the people of religion, piousness, good characteristics and humbleness before Allah. Their sights are Allah-fearing, their hearts always remember Allah and they know your guardianship and its right. Their tongues speak of your virtues and their eyes are in tears because of the feelings they have for you and the Imams of your sons. They admit what Allah had ordered them in His Book and the proof that He gave them of the way of His prophet. They obey the orders of their guardians. They are always in contact with each other and never separated. They love each other and never hate each other. The angels prayers upon them and ask Allah for what they ask for, ask for forgiveness for who commits sins among them, they witness their death and miss him Till Resurrection day. [3]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi in Al-Amali Book: Reported from Mahzam bin abi Barada that he heard Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) say: “If you exclude the followers of Ali, you will never find anyone on earth but who the firewood of hell is. Allah bestows blessings on who opposed you because of your presence near them. If there were no followers of Ali on earth, earth wouldn’t have seen rain ever. One of you might leave Donia (Earthly World) carrying no righteous deed in his book yet Allah fills his book with righteous deeds before he leaves. This is because he might have passed by a gathering where some were cursing at us so they say: ‘be silent, he is from that group.’ Then when he leaves, they curse at him because of us.” [4]

* Tafseer Al-Imam Al-Askari (Pbuh) Book: Imam (Pbuh) said that Imam Ali Bin Al-Hussein (Pbuh) told Al-Zihri when they were standing on Arafat Mountain: “Estimate the count of people that are here.” He: “I think about four millions and five hundred thousand persons. All of them are pilgrims who sought Allah with their hopes and called upon him with their voices.” Imam (Pbuh): “O Zihri, How plenty are the noises and how few are the pilgrims!” He: “aren’t all of them pilgrims, only a few?” Imam (Pbuh): “O Zihri, bring your face near me.” He brought it near. Then the Imam wiped Zihri’s face with his hand. Then Imam said: “Look.” So he looked at the people and saw that all of them are monkeys. He said: “I see no people, only one person in every ten thousand ones.” Then Imam said: “come near me, O Zihri.” So he came near him. He came near then Imam wiped his face another time and then told him to look again. Zihri says: “I looked and saw that all of them are pigs.” Then Imam said: “come near me, O Zihri.” So he came near him. Then Imam wiped his face another time. Thus he saw that all of them are wolves. But only a few people. So Zihri said: “May my father and mother be sacrificed for your sake O son of the Messenger of Allah. Your sign astonished me, and your miracle perplexed me. Imam said: “O Zihri, only few of these are the true pilgrims that you saw among these vast crowds.” Then Imam said: “wipe your face with your hand.” So he did and the creatures were back as people in his sight as they were at first. Then Imam said: “He who performs pilgrimage, pledge loyalty to our followers, abandoned our enemies, committed himself to obey us, and then came to this place returning to the black stone what Allah had entrusted him with, loyal to what Allah took from him of pledges, is the true pilgrim. The rest are who you just saw.”

Imam continues: “ O Zihri, my father told me that the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said:” the pilgrims are not the hypocrites who are enemies of Mohammad, Ali and the ones who love them. They don’t love who hate them. The pilgrims are the believers, the sincere, the ones loyal to Mohammad, Ali and the ones who love them. They are enemies with who hate them. The light of the believers who are loyal to us who are enemies with our enemies will shine in the stages of Resurrection Day as much as they are loyal to us. The light of some people shines from a distance of thousand years. The light of some shines from a distance of three thousand years that is the distance of all the stages. The light of some shines for distances like these and even greater. Some are greater than others according to the level of their loyalty to us and enmity against our enemies. People at that stage, Muslims and Infidels will know that they are the ones loyal and innocent. Each one of them will be told: ‘ O saint of Allah, behold these stages and look at everyone who did you a favor in Donia, or relieved you from a burden, or aided you when in distress, or held back an enemy away from you, or was good to you. You are his interceder.” If he was a true believer, the intercession will increase the bounties of Allah for him. If he was a defaulter, his shortage will be completed by the intercession. If he was an infidel, the torment will be lesser for him as much as he was good to that saint. As if I see our followers flying over that stages like falcons. They will pick up who were good to them in Donia like the falcons pick up the flesh and keep it. This is how they will pick up who were good to them in Donia from the hardship of those stages and lead them to heaven. [5]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Mohammad bin Suleiman from his father that he was with Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh). Then Abou Baseer came sighed and sat. When he sat, Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) told him: “O Abou Mohammad, why did you sigh?” he: “May my soul be sacrificed for your sake O son of the Messenger of Allah! I grew old, my bones are weak now and I’m close to death. Yet still I don’t know what will be my fate in the hereafter.” Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh): “O Abou Mohammad, You are saying this?” he: “May my soul be sacrificed for your sake, why wouldn’t I say this?” Imam: “ O Abou Mohammad, don’t you know that Allah honors the youths of you and is shy before the old?” he: “May my soul be sacrificed for you sake! How is that?” Imam: “He honors the youths so He doesn’t torment them and is shy before the old so He doesn’t hold them for judgment.” he: “May my soul be sacrificed for your sake! Is this only for us in particular or the common monotheists?” Imam: “I swear to Allah, only for you and none else.”

He: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, we were given a nickname that broke our backs and hearts and allowed the others to shed our blood because of narrations that their rulers told them.” Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh): “Al-Rafida (rejecters)?” He said: “indeed.” Imam: “I swear to Allah, it is not them who gave you this nickname yet Allah named you. Don’t you know O Abou Mohammad that seventy men from Banu Israeel rejected Firaon and his people when they saw how stray are they. So they followed Moussa (pbuh) when they saw his guidance. The followers of Moussa were called rejecters because they rejected Firaon. They worshiped Allah the most and they love Moussa, Haroun and their descendents the most. So Allah sent a revelation to Moussa (pbuh) telling him: ‘State this name of theirs in Al-Tawrat Book for that I chose this name for them.’ So Moussa (pbuh) stated this name for them and Allah saved this name for you too.”

“O Abou Mohammad, they rejected goodness and you rejected evil. People were separated and divided into parties. Thus you are with the party of the household of your prophet (Pbuhp). You followed them where they went. You chose what Allah had chosen for you. You willed what Allah had willed. So receive glad and glad tidings. I swear to Allah, mercy is only upon you, the righteous deeds are only accepted from you and only your faults that shall be overlooked. He who comes to Allah on resurrection day not carrying what you carry, his righteous deeds will not be accepted and his sins will not be overlooked. O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.” Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah has angels that drop the sins from the backs of our followers like the leaves that fall because of the wind. This is what Allah said {Those who carry the throne and who are around it, exalt with praise of their Lord, believe in him and ask forgiveness to the ones who believed} I swear to Allah, they only ask forgiveness for you and no one else from these creatures. O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” he said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned you in His book and said: {Among the believers are men who were true to the covenant they gave to Allah; some of them passed away and some are waiting. They never changed(their determination) in the least} you were true to the pledge that Allah took from you of loyalty to us. You didn’t change and replace us with others. If you did that Allah would have shamed you as He shamed them when He said: “ Most of them weren’t true to the covenant and we found that most of them are sinners} O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” He: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned you in His Book and said {brothers, on couches meeting each other}. I swear to Allah, Allah only meant you in this verse. O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” He: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more?”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, {the intimate friends shall be enemies on that day except the pious ones} I swear to Allah, Allah meant only you in this verse. O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” He: “May I be sacrificed for you, tell me more.” Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned us and our followers and our enemies in a verse of His Book: “Are the ones who know and the ones who don’t know equal. Only the ones with sane Minds remember.} We are the ones who know and our enemies are the ones who don’t know and our followers that the ones with sane Minds. O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” He: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad I swear to Allah, none was regarded as an exception among the custodians of prophets and their followers except Ameer Elmo’mineen and his followers in Allah’s book. It is what Allah said {the day when no guardian can avail his follower in aught and they aren’t advocated# except whom Allah was merciful to} meaning Ali and his followers. O Abou Mohammad, are you glad now?” He: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.” Imam said: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned you in his book and said: { Say: “O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah. For Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.} I swear to Allah, Allah only meant you in this verse. Are you glad now O Abou Mohammad?” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned you in His book and said: {Over My servants, you have no power} I swear to Allah, Allah only meant the Imams and their followers in his verse. Are you glad now O Abou Mohammad?” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned you in His Book and said {those are among whom Allah blessed of prophets, sincere saints, witnesses and righteous ones. Those are the best of companions}. In this verse the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) is ‘the prophets’ and we are the sincere saints and the witnesses and you are the righteous ones. So be righteous as Allah described you. Are you glad now O Abou Mohammad?” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam: “O Abou Mohammad, Allah mentioned you in His Book as He talked about your enemy and said {They said: why aren’t we seeing men that we used to consider as evil# did we treat them with ridicule, or sights failed to perceive them} I swear to Allah, Allah meant none but you in this verse. You became evil in the sights of people yet you are in heaven blessed and people are asking for you in hell. Are you glad now O Abou Mohammad?” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.” Imam said: “O Abou Mohammad, there is no verse that descended and says that it leads to heaven and talks about its people with good but is addressing us and our followers. There is no verse that descended and talks about its people with evil and lead to hell but is addressing our enemies and opposers. Are you glad now O Abou Mohammad?” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, tell me more.”

Imam said: “O Abou Mohammad, none adopted the religion of Ibrahim but us and our followers and all the other people are void of this. Are you glad now O Abou Mohammad?”- in another narration he said: “that is enough for me.” [6]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Moufeed states in Al-Ikhtisas Book: Reported from Abdellah bin Al-Fadel Al-Hashem that he said that he was with Imam Abou Abdellah Jaa’far Bin Mohammad (Pbuh) then Al-Moufaddal bin ‘Amr came. When Imam saw Al-Moufaddal, he smiled in his face and told him: “come to me O Moufaddal. Indeed I love you and love who loves you. O Moufaddal, if all my companions knew what you know, no two would have disputed.” Moufaddal said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, I think I’m being placed above my true rank.” Imam (Pbuh) said: “Yet you were placed at the rank that Allah appointed for you.”

He said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, what is the rank of Jaber bin Yazeed according to you?” Imam: “as Salman was to the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp).” he said: “what is the rank of Dawood bin Katheer Al-Riqqi according to you?” Imam: “as Al-Meqdad was to the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp).” Then turned to Abdellah and said: “O Abdellah bin Al-Fadel, Allah created us from the light of his greatness and formed us by his mercy and created your souls from us. So our hearts lean to you and your hearts lean to us. I swear to Allah, if people of the east and west tried their best to increase a man of our followers or decrease a man they can’t. Indeed we have them written in their names, their fathers’ names, families and linage. O Abdellah bin Al-Fadel, if you want I would show you your name in our papers.” Then Imam called for a paper that Al-Fadel saw it white with no letters in. So he said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, there is nothing written on this paper.” Then Imam passed his hand over it, so He saw words in it and he saw his name on the bottom of the page so he prostrated to Allah in gratitude.[7]

* Sharaf Al-Deen Al-Husseiny states in Ta’weel Al-Ayat Book: Reported from Zaid bin Yunus Al-Shahham that he told Imam Abou Al-Hassan Moussa Bin Jaa’far (Pbuh): “Shall we disown a follower of you if he drinks intoxicants and commits huge sins?” Imam: “disown his acts and not his good ones. Detest what he did.”

He said: “Can we say ‘Obscene Sinner’ about him?” Imam: “No, the obscene sinner the infidel is the one who disbelieves in us and in our guardianship. He refused to be a follower of us so he is an obscene sinner. No matter he does. Say that he committed an obscene act or he sinned but he has a believing self. He has wicked acts but a pure soul and body. I swear to Allah, no follower of us leaven Donia unless Allah, His Messenger and we are content with him. Even with all his sins, Allah will give him a white face on Lining Day with his shame covered, soul relieved, and there will be neither fear on him nor grief. This is because he doesn’t leave Donia until he is purified from his sins either by a calamity regarding his money or self or children or sickness. The least that might happen to our follower is that Allah shows him a terrifying dream. So what he sees saddens him and this would be as a penance for him. Or fear that comes to him from the state of falsehood or Allah makes him suffer from hardness during his soul extraction. Thus he meets Allah pure from sins and with his soul relieved by Mohammad and Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbut). Then two matters will be in front of him. Either the vast mercy of Allah that is wider than the entire inhabitants of earth or the intercession of Mohammad and Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbut). If the mercy of Allah missed him, then the intercession of his prophet and Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbut) aids him. Only then he is reached with the vast mercy of Allah. Indeed he is worthy of it and its people and he will earn its charity and virtues.”[8]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Sadouq states in Al-Khisal Book: Reported from Moawia bin Wahab that he said that Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) said: “The Shiites (followers) are three types: A lover who is one of us. A man ornamented by us as we are ornaments to he who is ornamented by us. A man who consumes people in our name. He who shall be poor.” [9]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi states in Al-Amali Book: Reported from Muslim Al-Thaqafi that he asked Imam Abou Jaa’far Mohammad Bin Ali (Pbuh) about this saying of Allah {Those Allah will replace their sins with righteous deeds and Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful}. Imam (Pbuh) said: “The believer who has sins is brought on Resurrection Day to stand before Allah. Allah takes care of his judgment and no person can see the judgment. So Allah tells him about his sins. If he admits his sins, Allah tells the angels: ‘replace it with righteous acts and show it to people.’ people then say: ‘This servant had no single sin!’ Then Allah sentences him to heaven. This is the explanation of this verse. It talks about who has sins from our followers in particular.” [10]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Issa bin Abi Mansur that he was at Imam Abou Abdellah’s (Pbuh) house along with Ibn Abi Yafour and Abdellah bin Talha. So Imam started talking and said: “O Ibn Abi Yafour, the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said: ‘six traits if found in one, he shall be before Allah and on Allah’s right.’“ Ibn Abi Yafour said: “what are they? May I be sacrificed for your sake!” Imam: “loving to his Muslim brother what he loves for his dearest relative. Hating for his Muslim brother what he hates for his dearest relative and to solace him because of the Wilaya.” Ibn Abi Yafour wept and said: “how is that accomplished?” Imam: “O Ibn Abi Yafour, when he is at this level to his brother, he tells him about his concerns, he is gladdened for his gladness, he grieves for his grief, and if he has what relieves his brother he gives it to him or else he prays for him.” Then Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) said: “Three are for you and three are for us: to know our virtues, follow our tracks and wait for our final matter. The ones who are like that shall be before Allah with lights that lighten who are below them. As for the ones on Allah’s right, if who are below them see them, they wouldn’t enjoy their life for what they see of their greatness.” Ibn Abi Yafour: “How can they not see them and they are on Allah’s right?” Imam: “ O Ibn Abi Yafour, they are veiled by the Light of Allah. Didn’t you hear this saying of the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp): “Allah has creatures that are on the right side of the throne before Allah and on his right. Their faces are whiter than snow and brighter than the shining sun. People ask: ‘who are they?’ Then they are told: ‘these are the ones who loved each other in the name of Allah’s Glory[11].’“[12]

* Ali Al-Tobrosi states in Mishkat Al-Anwar Book: Reported from Maysara that Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) said: “O Maysara, shall I tell you about our followers?” he said: “Yes, may I be sacrificed for your sake.” Imam: “They are fortified fortresses in safe souls and sober dreams. They are neither disclosing gossipers nor far pretenders. They are monks at night and lions during the day. [13]

* Al-Hor Al-Amili states in Wasa’el Al-Shia Book: Reported from Al-Hassan bin Mohammad Al-Dailami in Al-Irshad Book. Reported from Imam Al-Baqir (Pbuh) that he said: “Love who loves AL Mohammad (Pbut) even if he was a sinner and a fornicator. Detest who detests AL Mohammad (Pbut) even if he consistent on fasting and worshiping.” [14]

* Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Khaled Al-Barqi states in Al-Mahasin Book:Reported from Abou Baseer that Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) said: “don’t fight with people, for if they were able to love us they would. Allah took the pledge from our followers on the day He took the pledge of the prophets. They will increase or decrease by one ever.”[15]

* Sharaf Al-Deen Al-Husseiny states in Ta’weel Al-Ayat: Reported from Abou Thar (Cbuh) that he said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) say: “Israfeel showed pride over Jibraeel and said: ‘I’m better than you.’ So Jibraeel said: ‘why are you better than me?’ Israfeel: ‘Because I own the eight carriers of the throne, I’m the one who blows in Al-Sour, and I’m the closest angel to Allah.’ Then Jibraeel said: ‘I’m better than you.’ Israfeel: ‘what makes you better than me?’ Jibraeel: ‘I’m the trustee of Allah’s revelations and His messenger to his prophets and messengers. I’m control the eclipses and time. There is no nation that Allah doomed but by means of my hands.’

The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) continues: “they raised the dispute to Allah. So Allah inspired them with: ‘Be silenced for I have created who is better than you.’ They said: ‘O Allah, did you create who is better than us and yet we are created from Nour (Divine Light)?’

Allah said: ‘yes’ then Allah ordered the veils of Power to be cleared. So it was cleared and they saw the pillar of the throne written on it: ‘There is no god but Allah, Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah, Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussein are the best greatest creatures of Allah.’ Jibraeel said: ‘O Lord, I ask you in their name to allow me to be their servant.’ Then Allah said: ‘I did’ So Jibraeel is from Ahlul-Bayt and he is our servant.” [16]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Sadouq states in Al-Khisal Book: Reported from Abdellah bin Al-Dahhak that Zaid bin Moussa Bin Jaa’far reported from his father from his grandfather from his father Ali Bin Al-Hussein from his father from Ali Bin Abi Talib (Pbut) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said: “O Ali, deliver glad tidings to your followers and advocators with ten matters. The first is: Their righteous birth. The second is: Their good faith in Allah. The third is: The love that Allah has for them. The fourth is: Their wide graves. The fifth is: The light that is between their eyes of Al-Sirat. The sixth is: The removal of poorness from them and the richness of their hearts. The seventh is: The hate that Allah has for their enemies. The eighth is: They are safe from Leprosy, Vitiligo and Madness. O Ali, the ninth is: The remittance of their sins and evil deeds. The tenth is: They are with me in heaven and I’m with them.” [17]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Sadouq states in Al-Khisal Book: Reported from Amrou bin abi Al-Miqdam from his father that he said that Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) told him: “O Abou Al-Miqdam. The followers of Ali (Pbuh) are pale and skinny, with dry lips, hungry stomachs, changing colors, and yellow faces. When night comes, the land is their cradle and they reach for the ground with their foreheads. Their prostrations, tears, supplications and crying are a lot. People are gladdened and they are saddened.”[18]

* Mohammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Saffar states in Basa’er Al-Darajat Book: Reported from Suleiman Al-Jaa’fari that he was at Imam Abou Al-Hassan’s (Pbuh) house. Imam (Pbuh) told him: “O Suleiman, be ware from the keenness of the believer for that he looks using the Divine Light.” Suleiman thought for a while then he asked the Imam: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, I heard you saying: ‘be ware from the keenness of the believer for that he looks using the divine light?’“ Imam: “ O Suleiman, yes. Allah created the believers from His Light and molded them with His Mercy and took their pledges to be loyal to us. The believer is the brother of the believer from his father and mother. His father is light and his mother is mercy. He looks using the light that he was created from.” [19]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Toussi states in Al-Amali Book: Reported from Suweid bin Ghafla that he heard Imam Ali (Pbuh) say: “I swear to Allah, if I overflowed the hypocrite with Donia he will never love me and if I hit the nose of the believer with this sword of mine he will love me. This is because I heard the Messenger of Allah (Pbuh) say: ‘none loves you but the believer and none hates you but the hypocrite.’“[20]

* Al-Allama Al-Majlisi states in Al-Bihar Book: Imam Sadiq (Pbuh) was asked: “what were you before Allah had created the skies and lands?” Imam (Pbuh): “we were lights around the throne, exalting Allah and hallowing. Then Allah created the angels and told them to exalt. They said: ‘O our Lord, we don’t know how.’ Then Allah told us to exalt. So we did. Thus the angels exalted the way how we exalt. Indeed we were created from the light of Allah and our followers were created from this light. On Resurrection Day when the highest meets the lowest.- then Imam joined the index finger with the middle finger- and said: “like these two.” Then He (Pbuh) said:” O Moufaddal, do you know why our followers where names Shia? O Moufaddal our followers are from us and we are from our followers. Don’t you see how this sun looks like?” he said: “it is in the east.” Imam: “where does it go back?” he: “to the west.” Imam (Pbuh): “ Our followers are like this. Their beginning was from us and to us they will return.” [21]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Jaber Al-Jo’afi that he asked Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) as he was suddenly saddened: “May I be sacrificed for your sake. Sometimes I’m saddened because of no calamity that stroke me or a matter that burdened me. My family can witness that sadness in my face or my friends.” Imam (Pbuh) said: “O Jaber, Allah created the believers from the clay of the heavens and breathed from His soul into them. This is why the believer is the brother of the believer from his father and mother. So if a soul from these souls grieves in any country, this soul also grieves because they are from each other.” [22]

* Mohammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Saffar states in Basa’er Al-Darajat Book: Reported from Abou Al-Hajjaj that Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) told him: “O Abou Al-Hajjaj, Allah created Mohammad and AL Mohammad from a clay that is the highest and created their hearts from a clay that is higher. Then Allah created our followers from clay that is below the highest and created their hearts from clay that is the highest. So the hearts of the followers are made from the bodies of AL Mohammad. Allah created the enemies of AL Mohammad from Sijjin clay and created their hearts from clay that is wickeder. Then he created their followers from clay that is below Sijjin clay and created their hearts from Sijjin clay. So their followers’ hearts are from their bodies. Each heart leans to its body.”[23]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Abou Baseer that he heard Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) say: “the believer is the brother of the believer. They are like a single body. If one part complains of a certain matter the whole body feels pain. Their souls are from one soul. The soul of the believer is connected to the soul of Allah more than the rays of light are connected to the sun.”[24]

* Ibn Abi Jumhur Al-Ihasa’ee states in Awali Al-La’ali: Reported from Safwan Al-Jammal that he went to Imam Sadiq (Pbuh) and told him: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, I heard you say: ‘our followers are in heaven.’ yet there are people among the followers who commit sins and obscenities, consume people’s money, drink intoxicants and enjoy their earthly life?” Imam: “Yes, they are the inhabitants of heaven. Know that the believing followers of us don’t leave Donia until they are afflicted with sickness, or poorness, or debts, or a neighbor that harms him, or a bad wife. If he was spared from all this, Allah makes him suffer of hardness during his soul extraction until he leaves Donia with no sin on his back.” He: “May my father and mother be sacrificed for your sake, there are rights that would be returned back.” Imam (Pbuh): “Allah delegated the judgment on Resurrection Day to Mohammad and Ali (Pbut). So we will pay from our share of Khomos of their money for every debt that is on our followers. We will grant them every matter that is between them and their Lord. We stay following up with them until we lead them to heaven by mercy from Allah and intercession from Mohammad and Ali (Pbut) so that no one from our followers goes to hell. [25]

* Mohammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Saffar states in Basa’er Al-Darajat Book: Reported from Abou Al-Hejaz that he said that Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbuh) said: “The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) is the last of one hundred and twenty four thousand  prophets and I’m the last one of one hundred and twenty four thousand custodians. I was given all the duties that were given to the custodians before me and Allah is my aid. The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said when he was sick: ‘I don’t fear that you go astray after guidance but I fear for you from the sinners of Quraish and their enmity. For us Allah suffices, and He is the best disposer of affairs. One third of Quran talks about us and about our followers. What is in it of good is for us and for our followers. The remaining third, we shared it with people. What is in it of evil is for our enemy.” Then He (Pbuhp) said: “{are the ones who know and the ones who don’t know equal. None remember but the ones with sane minds.} Us Ahlul-Bayt and our followers are the ones with sane minds. The ones who don’t know are our enemies and our followers are the guided ones.” [26]

* Ahmad bin Mohammad bin Khaled Al-Barqi states in Al-Mahasin Book: Reported from Zaid bin Arqam from Imam Al-Hussein Bin Ali (Pbuh) that he said: “Every followers of us is a sincere saint and a witness.” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, how is that? For that most of them die on their beds?” Imam: “Don’t you read the  book of Allah, Al-Hadeed Surat: {the ones who believed in Allah and His Messengers, they are the sincere saints and witnesses in the sight of their Lord} he said: “As if I didn’t read this verse from the book before.” Imam: “If they witnesses are only what you mean, then the witnesses would be few. [27]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Sadouq states in Al-Amali Book: Reported from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said: “Allah resurrects people whose faces are of light on chairs of light, on them are clothes of light in the shade of the throne. They are at the rank of the prophets but they are not prophets. They are at the rank of the witnesses but they are not witnesses.” A man asked: “Am I one of them O Messenger of Allah?” he (Pbuhp) said: “No.” Another man asked: “Am I one of them O Messenger of Allah?” he (Pbuhp) said: “No.” one asked: “Who are they O Messenger of Allah?” Then the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) placed his hand on the head of Ali (Pbuh) and said: “He and his followers.” [28]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Sadouq states in Sifat Al-Shia: Reported from Ibn Abi Najran that he heard Imam Abou Al-Hassan (Pbuh) say: “He who is enemies with our followers is enemies with us and he who is loyal to them is loyal to us because they were created from our clay. He who loves them is from us and he who hates them is not from us. Our followers look using the light of Allah. They are always flowing in the mercy of Allah and they win the dignity of Allah. We get sick for every follower of us who got sick and we grieve for every follower who grieves. We are gladdened for our followers’ gladness. No follower of us is ever out of our sight wherever he was, in the east of earth or in the west. We are responsible for the debts of every follower of us after he passes away and if he left money then it is for his inheritors.

Our followers are the ones who establish prayer, give Zakat, perform pilgrimage, fast in Ramadan Month, pledge loyalty to Ahlul-Bayt and disown their enemies. Those are the people of faith, piousness and fear. He who rejects them rejects Allah and he who slanders them slanders Allah, because they are the true servants of Allah and his honest saints. I swear to Allah one of them can intercede for people in the count of Rabi’a and Mudar Tribe and Allah accepts his intercession for his dignity in the sight of Allah.” [29]

* Forat bin Ibrahim Al-Kufi states in his Tafseer Book: Reported from Obaid bin Katheer from Imam Abou Jaa’far Mohammad Bin Ali (Pbuh) explaining this saying of Allah {Every Self will be (Held) in a pledge for its deeds# except the companions of the right hand} He (Pbuh) said: “They are our followers, us Ahlul-Bayt.”[30]

* Mohammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Saffar states in Basa’er Al-Darajat Book: Reported from Abi Al-Rabee’ Al-Shami that he told Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh): “A narration reached me from Amrou bin Is’haq.” Imam said: “Tell me about it.” he said: “When Ameer Elmo’mineen came in, he saw yellowness in the face of Amrou. Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbuh) said: “why are you yellow?”  He said that he is in pain. Then Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbuh) said: “We are glad for your gladness, we grieve for your grief and we become ill when you are ill. We pray for you so you pray and then we assure your prayer.” Amrou said: “I know what you said but how do we pray and you assure our prayer?”

Ameer Elmo’mineen said: “We are together in the past and present.”  So Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) said: ‘Amrou is honest.’“[31]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Al-Hakam bin Otaiba that he said: “While I was with Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) as the House was crowded with people. An old man came leaning on his goat. He stood by the door and said: ‘Peace be upon you o son of the Messenger of Allah and Allah’s mercy and his blessings’ and stopped talking. Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) said: ‘and upon you be peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings.’ Then the old man came heading towards the household and said: ‘Peace be upon you’ he stopped talking till all the household replied the greeting back. Then he headed towards Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) and said: ‘O son of the Messenger of Allah, bring me near you May I be sacrificed for you. I swear to Allah, I love you and love who loves you. I swear to Allah I don’t love you and love who loves you out of greed for Donia. I swear to Allah, I hate your enemy and disown him. I swear to Allah, I don’t hate your enemy and disown him because a revenge that I have against him. I swear to Allah, I consider as licit what say that it is licit. I consider as illicit what you say that it is illicit and I wait for your matter. So can you pray for me, may I be sacrificed for your sake?’ So Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) said: ‘come to me, come to me’ and he made him sit by his side then he said: “O Sheikh, a man came to my father Ali Bin Al-Hussein (Pbuh) and asked him the same as you asked me. My father (Pbuh) told him: “If you die, you will be with the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp), Ali, Al-Hassan, Al-Hussein, and Ali Bin Al-Hussein. Your heart will be cool and your soul will be relieved. They will be waiting for you with bliss and ease along with the honored writers and if your soul reached here –and Imam pointed at his throat- and if you live you will see what Allah makes you satisfied and relieved with and you will be with us in the highest realm.”

The old man said: “what did you say O Abou Jaa’far?” then Imam told he what he said again. Then the old man said: “Allah is the Greatest O Abou Jaa’far, If I die, I will be with the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp), Ali, Al-Hassan, Al-Hussein, and Ali Bin Al-Hussein. My heart will be cool and my soul will be relieved. They will be waiting for me with bliss and ease along with the honored writers and if my soul reached here and if I live I will see what Allah makes me satisfied and relieved with and I will be with you in the highest realm!” The he started weeping and sighing then he fell on the ground. So the household started weeping and sighing as well for what they saw of the condition of that old man. Then Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) came and wiped the tears of the man with his finger. Then the old man raised his head and told Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh): “O son of the Messenger of Allah, give me your hand may Allah allow me to be sacrificed for your sake.” So Imam gave him his hand. Thus the man kissed it and passed it on his eye and cheek. Then he uncovered his abdomen and chest and placed the Imam’s hand on his abdomen and chest. Then he stood and said: “Peace be upon you.” Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) looked at the man go. Then he turned to the people and told them: “if you want to look at a man from the inhabitants of heaven then look at this man.” The Al-Hakam bin Otaiba said: “I’ve never seen a gathering weeping like this gathering.”[32]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Ibn Abi Al-Miqdam that he heard Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) say: “I was with my father between the grave and the platform. We saw some followers. So my father greeted them and said: ‘I swear to Allah, Indeed I love you and love your smell and souls. So aid me with piousness and hard work. Know that loyalty to us is not earned but by piousness and hard work. He who followed a servant shall do what he does. You are the followers of Allah. You are the advocators of Allah. You are the first Foremost, you are the last Foremost, you are the foremost in Donia and you will be the foremost in heaven. We guaranteed heaven for you by the guarantee of Allah and the guarantee of the Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp). I swear to Allah, there are no more than you in the ranks of heaven, so compete for the better ranks. You and your women are the good ones. Every female believer that like the angelic maids and every male believer who is a sincere saint.” [33]

* Mohammad bin Ali Al-Tabari states in Bousharat Al-Mustafa Book: Reported from Huthaifa bin Mansur that he was at Imam Al-Sadiq’s (Pbuh) house. Then a man came and told him: “May I be sacrificed for you sake, I have a brother that loves, glorifies and greatens you but he only drinks intoxicants.” Imam (Pbuh) said: “it is great that our lover is in such a states. Shall I tell you about who is worse than this? The Naseby[34] is worse than him. The lowest believer even though none of them is low can intercede for two hundred persons. Yet if the inhabitants of the seven skies and seven lands and seven seas interceded for a Naseby, their intercession will not be valid. This man doesn’t leave Donia until he repents or until Allah afflicts him with his body in order to remit his sins. Thus he meets his lord carrying no sin. Our followers are in the direction that is towards good, our followers are on the straightest path.” Then Imam said: “My father always used to say: ‘Love who loves AL Mohammad even if he was a scavenger[35] and hate who hates AL Mohammad even if he was consistent on fasting and worshiping.’“[36]

* Ibn Shaher Ashoub states in Al-Manaqib Book: Reported from Moussa bin Sayar that he was with Imam Rida (Pbuh).  He said: “We were at the boundaries of Touss. I heard calls and thus we were among a funeral. When I saw the funeral I saw my Master, came down from his horse and walked towards the funeral and carried the coffin with them. He was holding to it like the baby holds onto his mother. Then Imam came to me and said: ‘O Moussa bin Sayar, he who walks in a funeral of one of our followers will be free of sins like when he was born as he leaves the funeral.’“

“When they were about to place him in his grave, I saw my Master walking towards the coffin and people were moving out of his way till he reached the dead man. Imam placed his hand on the chest of the dead man and said: ‘O man son of man, receive glad tidings of heaven. There is no fear on you after this hour.’ So I said: ‘May I be sacrificed for your sake, Do you know this man? I swear to Allah, we are in a place where you never stepped on before.’ Imam said: ‘O Moussa bin Sayar, don’t you know that the deeds of our followers are displayed before us every morning and evening us Imams. We ask Allah to forgive them for what they came short in, and we ask Allah to thank who does a righteous deed.’“[37]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Moufeed states in Al-Ikhtisas Book: Abdel-Azeem reported from Imam Abou Al-Hassan Al-Rida (Pbuh) that he said: O Abdel-Azeem, deliver my greetings to my followers and tell them not to open doors for Satan to reach them. Order them to be honest and to fulfill the trusts. Order them to be silent, not to argue about what doesn’t concern them, to visit each other for that brings them closer to me and not to work on tearing each other apart for that I promised myself to ask Allah to torment in Donia who does that from them and enrages a follower of mine by the severest torment and he will be among the losers in the hereafter. Let them know that Allah forgives to the righteous among them and overlooked who is bad except who made Allah a partner or harmed a follower of my followers or held enmity against him. For indeed Allah doesn’t forgive him unless he repents. If he didn’t repent, then the spirit of faith shall be removed from him, loyalty to me will also be erased and he will not have a share from our Wilaya (Guardianship). I seek refuge with Allah from that. [38]

* Al-Sayyid Hashim Al-Bahraini in Madeenat Al-Ma’ajiz Book: Reported from Abou Yaqoub bin Ziad and Ali bin Sayar (Cbut) that they said that they came one night to Imam Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Mohammad (Pbut). The kind that was at that time used to respect and honor the Imam. When they were sitting the ruler of the country came to them and with him a chained man. The ruler saw Imam Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) coming so he came down his horse as in respect for the Imam. Imam Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) told him: “climb back on your horse.” So he climbed back but with respect for the Imam, then he said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, I caught this man on the door of a store. So I accused him that he wants to steal it. When I was about to whip him five hundred times and this is how I do to whom I accuse so that he doesn’t ask to spare him from punishment because of this and that and this would be also as a punishment for sins that he might have committed before. So he told me: ‘fear Allah and place yourself under his rage for that I’m from the Shiites (followers) of Ameer Elmo’mineen Ali Bin Abi Talib (Pbuh) and from the Shiites of this Imam the father of Al-Qa’im (Pbut).’ So I stopped and told him: ‘I will take you to him, if he identified you as a Shiite I will release you or else I will cut off your hand and leg after I whip you thousand times.’ So I came to you O son of the Messenger of Allah. Is he from the Shiites of Ali (Pbuh) as he claimed?” Imam Al-Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) said: “He is not from the Shiites of Ali (Pbuh), I afflicted him and made you catch him because the thinks that he is from the Shiites of Ali (Pbuh).”

So the ruler said: “Now, I have the right to act. Now I will whip him five hundred times without any concern.” So he took him far and ordered him men to place him on the ground. He ordered to executioners to whip him. One from his left and one from his right. So he said: “let him feel pain.” They started whipping but the whips were falling on the ground and not on his back. The ruler was frustrated and said: “How dare you hitting the ground? Hit his back.” They started whipping but the each one’s whip was hitting the other. He screamed: “How dare you? Are you crazy hitting each other?” they said: “we are trying to hit him but the whips are averted towards us.” He called for other four men and ordered them to surround him. So they surrounded him. Yet also the whips were being averted and hitting the ruler. So he fell from his horse and said: “You killed me may Allah kill you.” They said: “We were hitting him.” So he ordered others to hit the man. They came and hit the ruler so he said: “how are you hitting me?” they said: “we swear to Allah, we are hitting him.” He said: “then where did these scars that are in my head, face and body came from if you weren’t hitting me.” They said: “may our rights hands be paralyzed if we meant to hit you.” Thus the man told the ruler: “Aren’t you thinking of this kindness of Allah that by it the whips are averted away from me. Wayl is to you, take me back to the Imam and ask him about this.”

The ruler took him back to Imam Al-Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) and said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, I wonder how you denied that this man is your follower and who is not your follower then he is a follower of Iblees and he is in hell. Yet I saw him doing miracles that only prophets do.” Imam Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) said:  “say: ‘and custodians.’“ He said: “and custodians” Then Imam Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) said: “O servant of Allah, he lied about what he claimed of being from our Shiites. Such a lie that if he didn’t on purpose he would have suffered from all the torment that you gave him and he would have stayed in jail for thirty years. Yet Allah was merciful to him because he said a word that he didn’t mean, not on purpose. O servant of Allah, also know that Allah saved him from your hands, so spare him from torment for that he is from the ones who are loyal to us and who love us yet not w true follower.” The ruler said: “these are all the same in our sight, what is the difference?” Imam (Pbuh): “ The difference is that our true followers follow our tracks and obey us in all our commands and prohibitions . These are the true followers. Yet who disobeyed us in most of what Allah obligated on them aren’t our true followers.” Then Imam (Pbuh) said: “ You also lied a lie that if you did on purpose Allah would have afflicted you with a thousand whip and thirty years in jail.” He said: “what is it O son of the Messenger of Allah?” Imam: “ because you claimed that you saw that he did miracles. Yet the miracles are not his, it is ours. Allah showed it in order to reveal our argument and to show our glory and honor. If you said: ‘I saw miracles that happened with him’ I wouldn’t have deplored it. Issa (pbuh) revived a man. Is the miracle for Issa or the man? Didn’t he create a bird of clay and it turned into a real bird by permission of Allah? Is the miracle for Issa or the bird? Weren’t those who were transformed into chimps? Is the miracle for the chimps or the prophet of that time?” Thus the ruler said: “I ask forgiveness from Allah My Lord and repent to him.”

Then Imam Al-Hassan Bin Ali (Pbuh) told that man that he said that he is from the Shiites of Ali (Pbuh): “O servant of Allah, you are not from the true followers of Ali (Pbuh). The true followers of Ali (Pbuh) are the one whom Allah said about them {those who believed and did righteous acts. Those are the companions of heaven. They will abide eternally therein.} They are the ones who believed in Allah, described him with His descriptions, exalted him by his traits, believed in Mohammad in his sayings and actions and regarded Ali after him as a Master, Imam and a Lord that neither one is equal to him in the nation of Mohammad nor all of them if they were combined to be compared to him. Yet he is higher like the sun and earth weigh in comparison to the atom. The true followers of Ali (Pbuh) are the ones when in the cause of Allah, they don’t care if they meet death or death meets them. The true followers of Ali (Pbuh) are the one who prefer their brother over themselves even if a matter truly means to them. They are the ones whom Allah doesn’t see them where he prohibited them and doesn’t miss them where he ordered them. The true followers of Ali (Pbuh) are the ones who see Ali as their idle in being generous to their believing brothers. This is not what I say. This is what Mohammad (Pbuhp) said. This is what Allah meant by {did righteous acts} they fulfilled all the duties after Monotheism, believing in prophecy and Imamate. Two are the greatest duties, serving the rights of the brother in Allah, and practicing Taqiya[39] around the enemies of Allah.” [40]

* Al-Allama Al-Majlisi states in Al-Bihar Book: Reported from the Sheikhs of Qum that Al-Hussein bin Al-Hassan bin Jaa’far bin Mohammad bin Ismaeel bin Jaa’far Al-Sadiq (Pbuh) was used to drink intoxicants in public. So once he went to Ahmad bin Is’haq Al-Asha’ari for a need that he wants. Ahmad was an agent in house of treasury of Muslims in Qum City. So Ahmad didn’t allow him to meet him so he went back to his home saddened. Ahmad bin Is’haq went to pilgrimage so when he reached Sor-Man Ra’a City he went to the Imam Abou Mohammad Al-Hassan Al-Askari (Pbuh). He asked permission to enter but the Imam (Pbuh) didn’t give him permission. Ahmad wept a lot for that and begged and pleaded till the Imam allowed him. So when he came in he said: “O son of the Messenger of Allah, why did you prevent me from coming in and I’m one of your followers and I’m loyal to you?” Imam (Pbuh) said: “because you didn’t allow our cousin to come to you.” Thus Ahmad cried and swore to Allah that he only prevented him till he repents from drinking intoxicants. Imam (Pbuh) said: “You are true. Yet you must honor and respect them any way. You should never disrespect them or treat them with negligence because they are related to us. Thus you will be among the losers.”

When Ahmad came back to Qum, notable men in Qum came to him. Al-Hussein was with them. So when Ahmad saw him, he received him with honor, respected him and made him sit in the middle of the gathering. Al-Hussein wondered the acts of Ahmad, so he talked to him in private and asked him about the cause of his acts. So Ahmad told him what happened with him and Imam Al-Askari (Pbuh). When Al-Hussein heard this he regretted his ugly acts and repented. He went back to his home, spilled all the intoxicants and broke its bottles. He became a pious man fearing Allah, a righteous man worshiping Allah and stayed in mosques till he died. Then he was buried near the shrine of Hadrat Fatima (Pbuh).[41]

* Al-Allama Al-Majlisi states in Al-Bihar Book: Reported from Ibn Tawous (Cbuh) that he heard at pre-dawn from the crypt Imam Zaman (Pbuh) say: “O Allah, our followers were created from the beams of our lights and the rest of our clay. They committed a lot of sins depending on loving us and being loyal to us. If their sins were between You and them, forgive them for that we are content. As for the sins that they committed between each other, reconcile them and take from our share of Khomos. Allow them to go to heaven and keep them away from hell. Don’t encompass them along with your enemies under your rage.

I said: there is another version reported from historians that are near to our time that differs from the first version. It says: “O Allah, our followers were created from the rest of our clay and were molded with the water of our Wilaya. O Allah, forgive their sins that they committed when depending on loving us and loyalty to us on Resurrection Day. Don’t punish them for what they committed of sins, in the name of our Honor. Don’t judge them on Resurrection Day in front of our enemies and if their values were little then increase it with the rest of our righteous deeds. [42]

* Al-Sheikh Al-Kulaini states in Al-Kafi Book: Reported from Amrou bin abi Al-Miqdam that he heard Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) say: “ Reported from Ibn Abi Al-Miqdam that he heard Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh) say: “I was with my father between the grave and the platform. We saw some followers. So my father greeted them and said: ‘I swear to Allah, Indeed I love you and love your smell and souls. So aid me with piousness and hard work. I swear to Allah, there are no more than you in the ranks of heaven, so compete for the better ranks. You and your women are the good ones. Every female believer that like the angelic maids and every male believer who is a sincere saint.”

“Ameer Elmo’mineen (Pbuh) told Qanbar: ‘O Qanbar, receive these glad tidings and deliver it to others. I swear to Allah, the Messenger of Allah (Pbuh) dies in rage over his entire nation except the Shiites. To everything there is a glory and the glory of Islam is the Shiites. To everything there is a pillar and the pillar of Islam is the Shiites. To everything there is a peak and the peak of Islam is the Shiites. To everything there is an honor and the honor of Islam is the Shiites. To everything there is a master and the master of gatherings are the gatherings of the Shiites. To everything there is an Imam and the Imam of Lands is the land dwelled by the Shiites. I swear to Allah, if you weren’t on earth you wouldn’t have seen grass ever. I swear to Allah, if you weren’t on earth Allah wouldn’t have bestowed any blessing upon who opposed you and they would have never seen good. They don’t have a share in Donia or in the Hereafter. Every Naseby, even if he worshiped and worked hard is described in this Verse {Laboring(Hard), weary# will suffer from blazing fire} the work of every Naseby is as dispersed dust. Our follower speak by the Light of Allah and who opposed them speak fleeting words. I swear to Allah, every follower of us who sleeps Allah ascends his soul to the sky and bless it. If its time had come, Allah sends it to the treasures of His mercy, heavens, and the shadow of the throne. If its time hadn’t come yet, Allah sends it back with his trusted angels to return it back to the body that it left to settle in it. I swear to Allah your pilgrims are the special ones for Allah. The poor among you are the rich and the rich are the ascetic people. All of you are the ones who call for Allah and the ones who responded to him.” [43]

* Mohammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Saffar states in Basa’er Al-Darajat Book: Reported from Abou Hamza Al-Thamaly that he asked Imam Abou Jaa’far (Pbuh) about this saying of Allah {a righteous tree. Its root is steadfast and its stem is in the sky* it is granted its food every while by permission or its Lord}. So Imam said: “ The Messenger of Allah (Pbuhp) said: ‘I’m its root, Ali is its stem, the Imams are its branches, our knowledge is its fruits and our followers are its leaves.’“

Imam (Pbuh): “O Abou Hamza, do you see any excess in it?” He said: “I swear to Allah, I don’t.” Imam: “O Abou Hamza, for every new follower who is born a leaf is born and for every follower who dies a leaf falls.” [44]

* Reported from Abou Baseer that he said that he came along with his companion to Imam Abou Abdellah (Pbuh). He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake O son of the Messenger of Allah, sometimes I grieve without knowing the reason?” Imam (Pbuh): “this sadness and happiness reaches you if we were sad or happy. It reaches you because we and you are from the Light of Allah. So he made our clay and your clay one. If your clay was left as it was created, you would have been like us. Yet your clay was molded with your enemies’ clay. If it hadn’t been for that you wouldn’t have sinned ever.” He said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, our clay and light we be back as it was before?” Imam: “I swear to Allah, indeed. O servant of Allah, tell me about the sun rays that emerge from it. Is it connected to it or separate?” he said: “May I be sacrificed for your sake, it is separate.” Imam: “When the sun sets, does it go back and be connected with it as it started?” he said: “yes.” Imam: “I swear to Allah, our followers as well. They were created from the light of Allah and to Him they will come back. You will follow us on Resurrection Day and we will intercede for you and our intercession will be accepted. I swear to Allah, you will intercede and your intercession will be accepted. For every one of you, a hell will be raised on his left and a heaven on his right and thus he leads his loved ones to heaven and his enemies to hell.
