Imam Abou Jaa'far (Pbuh) said: "In Al-Tawrat Book, the advice of Allah to Moussa (pbuh) is written. Allah said to him: "O Moussa, fear me from deep inside of you and so I protect you from behind you. Remember me in times when you are alone and when you are glad enjoying your pleasures so that I remember you in your times of unawareness. Suppress your anger at the ones over which you have authority so that I suppress my anger at you. Keep my deep secrets profound inside you and show complacency to your enemy and my enemy. Don't cause them to curse at me by revealing my secrets and so you would be a partner of them in cursing at me.""
Al-Moufaddal said: " I heard Imam Abou Abdellah Al-Sadiq (Pbuh) say that Allah said to Moussa: "O son of Omran, he lied he who claimed that he loves me and yet when night comes he sleeps and forgets me. Doesn’t every lover have private times with his loved one? Here I am O son of Omran beholding my loved ones. When night comes I turn their sights from their hearts and display my punishment before their eyes. They speak to me when seeing and talk to me when present.
O son of Omran, grant me fear from of your heart, submission of your body, and the tears of your eyes in the darkness of night. Supplicate me and you would find me near to you and responding.""
Moussa bin Omran said: " O Lord, advise me." Allah said: "I enjoin you with Me." Moussa said: " O Lord, advise me." Allah said: "I enjoin you with Me." Three times. Moussa said: "Advise me." Allah said: "I enjoin you with your mother." Moussa said: "Advise me." Allah said: "I enjoin you with your mother." Moussa said: "Advise me." Allah said: "I enjoin you with your father." -This is why it is said that the mother has two thirds of righteousness and the father has one third.
Allah said: " O Moussa, if the rope of loving me was cut it can't be connected to any other rope. So worship me and regard yourself as a servile servant before me. Slander yourself as it is worthy of being slandered. Don't surmount the children of Israeel using my book. This is enough advice and light for your heart. These are the words of the lord of all realms.
O Moussa, whenever you supplicate me you find me and I shall forgive you for what happened. The skies and angels exalt me in fear. Earth exalts me with pleas and all the creatures exalt me in humility and obedience.
O Moussa, be generous to the beggar by a nice response or a generous giving. What comes to you are not humans or jinn, they are the angels of the Most Merciful who come to test you with what I enjoined you and to test you how you solace your brothers as I ordered you. Fear me when begging me and recite my book. Know that I command you with the commands of the owner to the owned so that the owned reaches the highest ranks. This is my merit and virtue upon you and upon your first forefathers.
O Moussa, don’t forget me in any of the conditions. Don’t be gladdened with wealth. Forgetting me turns the hearts cruel and wealth causes the sins to increase. Earth is obedient. The sky is obedient. The seas are obedient. He is miserable he who disobeys me. I'm the Most Gracious who is gracious in every time. I grant hardness after ease and grant ease after hardness. I assign kings after kings and yet my dominion is established and it will never end. Nothing is hidden from me in the skies or lands. How can a matter that I created be hidden from me? How can you not be concerned about what I have when your return is back to me.
O Moussa, rush towards repentance and delay the sin. Take your time when standing in prayer before me. Don’t plead other than me. Take me as your shield in you hard times and shelter in the tough matters.
O Moussa, set your heart to be prior to your tongue so that you are safe. Remember me frequently during the day and night so that you gain. Don’t follow the sins as you would regret it. The destination of sins is fire.
O Moussa, forgo Donia and be exalted above it. It is not for you and you are not for it. It is the home of the wrongdoers, you aren’t related to it. Only who do good it in it, it turns to be the blessed home for them.
O Moussa, when you see wealth coming say: "A sin whose punishment is near." When you see poverty coming say: "Welcome O sign of the righteous." Don’t be unjust and arrogant and don’t be a companion of the wrongdoers.
O Moussa, look at the land. It will be your home after a while. Raise you sight towards the sky for you have a great dominion in it. Cry over yourself as long as you are in Donia. Fear the matters that harm and doom you. Don’t be seduced by the ornaments and joys of Donia and don’t accept injustice. Don’t be unjust as I don't leave the unjust ones until I give the oppressed their rights back.
O Moussa, when you see poverty coming say: "Welcome O sign of the righteous." When you see wealth coming say: "A sin whose punishment is near." Donia is a home of the punishments in which I punished Adam for his sin. I damned it and damned everything in it except what is mine.
O Moussa, don’t forget me in any of the conditions. Forgetting me kills the heart.
O Moussa, remember my commandments in four matters:
First, as long as you see that your sins aren’t remitted don’t occupy yourself with the flaws of others.
Second, as long as you see that my treasures aren’t to end don’t be saddened because of a short livelihood.
Third, as long as you see that dominion is never to perish don’t plead other than me.
Fourth, as long as you see that Satan isn’t dead always be aware of his deception.
