Rituals of the White Days and the eve of 15th of Rajab

Imam Jaafar Al-Sadeq (pbuh) said:"This Nation was given three months that were not given to any other nation, which are Rajab, Shaaban and month of Ramadan. there are also three nights that no one was given nights like them, which are the night before 13, the night before 14 and the night before 15 of every month. This nation was also given three Surahs that were not given to any nation, which are Yaseen, Tabaraka and Al-Tawhid. So whoever joins these three matters has joined the best of what was given to this nation."The Imam (pbuh) was asked:"How could these three be joined?" he (pbuh) said:"You Shall pray every night of these white nights of these three months the following: in the night before the 13 two Rik'aas reciting in every Rik'aa Al-Fatiha and these three Surahs. In the night before the 14, four Rik'aas reciting in every Rik'aa Al-Fatiha and these 3 Surahs, and in the night before the 15 six Rik'aas, in every Rik'aa Al-Fatiha and these three Surahs. Thus, he will gain the rewards of these three months and all his sins will be forgiven except polytheism."

Imam Al-Sadeq (pbuh) said:"He who fasts the white Days of Rajab ( 13 -14 &15), Allah shall right to him for each day he fasts the reward of fasting and praying a whole year, and he will be safe at the Resurrection Day."

Special prayer for White eves:
Imam Jaafar Al-Sadeq (pbuh) said:"You Shall pray every night of these white nights the following: in the night before the 13 two Rik'aas reciting in every Rik'aa Al-Fatiha and these three Surahs( which are Yaseen, Tabaraka and Al-Tawhid.).

Eve and Day of 15th of Rajab:
In a narration reported by Ibin Abbass: Adam (pbuh) said: "O Lord! Tell me which is the most day and time you love?" Thus, Allah, the Most High, sent a revelation upon him that said: "O Adam! The most time I love is the day of the 15th of Rajab. O Adam! Seek to be close to Me on the day of the 15th of Rajab by oblations, hospitality, fasting, supplications, seeking forgiveness and saying: 'There is no god but Allah.' O Adam! I have ordained and declared that I shall send from your descendants a prophet who is not rude, rough nor loud, but is patient, merciful, generous, and of great blessings. I shall particularly grant him and his nation the day of the 15th of Rajab... I shall grant them during this month whatever they request from Me. Indeed, if they plead during it for forgiveness, I shall forgive them; if they ask for bestowments, I shall grant them bestowments; if they ask for aid, I shall aid them and if they ask for mercy, I shall have mercy on them. O Adam! He who wakes up in the morning of the day of 15th of Rajab fasting, praising Allah, being devout, holding back his lusts and giving charity from his money shall not be rewarded by Me but with Heaven. O Adam! Tell your descendants to watch themselves on Rajab because committing sins on it is of great consequences."

The Prophet (pbuhp) said: "At the night before the 15th of Rajab, Allah, the Most High, orders and tells the treasurers of the books of the creations and the writers of their deeds: "Look in the books of my worshipers and erase every sin you find and replace it with a good deed.""

and it was reported from The Prophet (PBUHP) a prayer (Salat) of the night before 15 Rajab:" reciting Al-Fatiha once and ten times Al-Tawheed in each Rik'aa."

Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Abi Al-Nasr said:"I asked Imam Al-Rida on which month do we visit Al-Hussein (pbuh)? (and in another narration: what is the best time to visit Al-Hussein?) He (pbuh) said:"on the fifteenth of Rajab and on the fifteenth of Shaaban."

In a narration reported by Ibin Abbass: Adam (pbuh) said: "O Lord! Tell me which is the most day and time you love?" Thus, Allah, the Most High, sent a revelation upon him that said: "O Adam! The most time I love is the day of the 15th of Rajab. O Adam! The prayer of Salman Farsi on the 15th day of Rajab

Salaat of Salman Farsi
Hadrat Salmaan narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said "O Salmaan, there is no Mumin (True Believer) and Muminah (Truly Believing Female) who performs 30 Raka'ah in the month of Rajab ( 10 units on 1st , 10 units on 15th & 10 units last day) and in each Raka'ah recites Surah Al Faatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlaas 3 times, and Surah Al Kafiroon 3 times that Allah does forgive them their sins and bestows rewards upon them as upon a person who has fasted a whole month. He becomes among those who will be steadfast in their salaat in the year which is to come. For him the deeds of the day is equal to that of the martyr. He will be raised with the Martyrs of the Holy Battle of Badr. For him is written for the fast of each day, one year's worship. His station is raised 1000 times higher.
If he fasts the entire month of Rajab and he performs this (Above) Salaat, Allah will give him salvation from the Hell Fire, make Waajib for him, His Paradise and bestow His Nearness upon him. Hadrat Jibreel informed me "O Muhammad this is the sign between you and the Mushrikeen (Polytheists) and the Munaafiqeen (Hypocrites) because the Munafiq does not perform this Salaat."

10 Raka'ah on the first of it (month of Rajab) and in each Raka'ah recite Surah Al-Faatihah once, Surah Al Ikhlaas thrice and Surah Al Kafiroon thrice and after you do your Salaam (at the end of each 2 units) raise your hands and say:

لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ،
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ،
يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ،
وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ،
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ،
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.
"There is no God but Allah, The One Who has no partners. To Him belongs all His kingdom and all the praise, Who created life and death and Who is Alive without Death. From His hands (only) good is done and Who has Power over everything.

The following invocation should be said thereafter:

اللّهُمَّ لا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ،
وَلا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ،
وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدَّ.

Dearest Allah, no one can stop what You bestow and no one can give what You prevent. There is no one who can profit us except You the August among all. "Then spread your hands over your face.

In the middle of the month 15 Rajab perform similar 10 Raka'ah and in each Raka'ah recite Surah Al Faatihah once, Surah Al Ikhlaas thrice, and Surah Al Kafiroon thrice and after you do your salaam (at the end of each 2 units) raise your hands towards the heavens and say:

لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ،
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ،
يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ،
وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ،
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ،
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

Then recite:-

The Lord Who is One, One and Only, Singular, and Besought by the all.
He has betaken neither a wife nor a son.
Then spread your hands over your face

At the end of the month, similar 10 Raka'ah. In every Raka'ah recite Surah Al Faatihah one, Surah Al Ikhlaas thrice and Surah Al Kafiroon thrice. After you do your salaam, raise your hand towards the heaven and say the same thing that on the first day
Then recite

May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and upon his Family, the Immaculate.

There is neither might nor power save with Allah, the Most High, the All-great
